We encourage all students to sign up, choose a song (not too easy, not too hard), and have the experience of working toward a goal and playing in front of a crowd.

Talk to your teacher about playing a duet or sitting together on stage if that works better for you than playing on your own. You can also attend as an audience member if you aren’t up for performing this year 🙂

Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up early!

If your teacher is listed on multiple events, you can pick the time that works best for you. If you are unavailable on your assigned date and time, you can simply sign up for a different recital and let our desk staff know. Your teacher will probably not be able to attend at an alternate time, but our staff will be happy to help you get all set to play on recital day.

Recital attire is casual to fancy – wear whatever makes the day fun for you!

Family and friends are welcome to attend (no tickets required at the door). Your $35 recital fee supports The Royal Room – a premier venue in our neighborhood that provides an amazing experience for our students. It also allows us to pay our staff, teachers, and sound engineers for their work on these shows.

A special note of encouragement for our teen and adult performers… there will likely be many youth performers on your recital day. Your participation celebrates the wide range of ages in our school community and gives our young musicians something to aspire to. Please don’t hesitate to sign up and share a song this recital season!
